Wikipedia says that Chairlift is a Brooklyn-based electronic pop group. I remember chairlift as the intimidating mechanical siren of the slopes that lured me in with its sweet promise of delivering me to a powdery utopia in my adolescent years, only to embarrassingly knock me on my ass and rip my fluorescent Sun Ice jacket much to the delight of several dozen onlookers and the off-season carnies they have running them.
Regardless, Chairlift the band has already enjoyed a bit of success. "Bruises" was featured in a 2008 ipod TV spot.
